MASTER PLAN - ADELAIDE INTERSTATE RAIL TERMINAL

Project Overview

Atomiq was asked to steer the renewal of the Keswick railway station and rebranding as The Adelaide Parklands Interstate Rail Terminal.

We developed plans to streamline the arrival, passenger set-down and parking and to clarify connections to ongoing transport options.

Similtaneously we looked at cultural and urban connections to the area, optimising land use, the potential for complimentary developments and the terminal's role as a gateway to South Australian tourism. 

The final plan included sustainability and energy efficiency options, wind turbines, drought tolerant landscaping and recycled water connections.
