CAIRNS AIRPORT

Project Overview

In conjunction with a major expansion and refurbishment Atomiq has been asked to develop a plan to improve the visual presentation of Cairns Airport, communicate regional features to tourist passengers and develop a historical display celebrating the bush pilots and pioneer aviators of the region.

With a clear majority of passengers through the airport being tourists to the tropical north it became imperative to both entice and educate visitors to the  variety of experiences available to them.

Conversely on departure, the focus is on reinforcing experiences they may have had or missed out on and in fostering return visitation.
