PLAYSPACES AND ACCESSIBLE PLAY EXPERIENCE

Project Overview

The Gold Coast City Council commissioned Atomiq to design two fully accessible playground precincts for a large play space at Broadbeach. The aim was to allow for fully inclusive play and particularly to inspire imaginative play and story based play.

These play spaces included water play and featured colourful sculptural elements and accessible sand play tables for wheelchair and mobility restricted children.
